At the beginning of January, we had new wood floors installed in our entire home. Which means, as you may have guessed, removing EVERYTHING out of rooms, out of closets and under beds!! Oh boy! After this Giant feat (thank goodness we had help from our kids and grandkids) I noticed something about myself which I have DENIED for years and years. "My Name is Evelyn and I am a hoarder!!" Yeah that confession was tough. Whew! But we are fully on board with correcting that now! I have studied minimalism both in writing and on Youtube and I'm kinda liking it. And my sweetie is loving the idea (Yeah he's doing the same in our shop/barn). So this is the perfect time to slowly purge and unburden ourselves by donating, throwing away and of course the curbside "Free signs". We are only moving items back into the house that we know we use and/or things we LOVE. One thing I have learned is "Your kids Do Not Want your stuff" plus if it's such a burden to us then why would we burden our children with things? No worries, they are ALL on board with our clean out. Phew Ok that's out of the way, now is time for some fun!!
